A day well spend

The first day of the New Year I spend reorganizing and cleaning out my sewing room.
We celebrated Sinterklaas surprise evening and a lot of crafty stuff was going on in the house. My room was a mess.
So I decided the first day of 2013 was cleaning day. Even my pins are in the right place.....

And after that I still had some time to finish up two Christmas projects.

Finished my homework in time for the next board meeting

Already a few months ago we had a brainstorm session with the board of the Dutch Quiltersgilde. Apart from coming up with ideas for next years' celebrations (Quiltersgilde will celebrate it's 30 birthday), we had a little workshop organised by Marleen.

Next week we will have the our monthly board meeting and YES my pincushion is ready for show and tell!!!

Girls Day Out

Today my friends and I went to the " fair with flair" at the Jacobushoeve in Well. It was very windy and all the stand holders were constantly busy securing their merchandise against the wind.
Here are a few things I bought. At least one thing is quilt-related.....
