Fabric painting in Koekange

Early August I spent two days with Hilde playing with paint and fabric. It was lots of fun and the teachers were excellent. The atmosphere was great, the food and wine the best. All in all the perfect little holiday we wished for.

Homework.......done!!

Little Carrousel

Last Friday we got together for the 9th part of the mystery by Françoise. It was the first time we met after she closed her shop in Den Bosch.  So we came to her 'atelier' at her home.
Today I sewed all the parts of the little Carrousel together, so my homework for summer is done!!
Look how cute the carrousel turns out with the horse, carriage and elephant.
Very eager to find out what will happen in the borders....
For that I will, unfortunately, have to wait a while.
But I have enough little projects to keep myself busy.

Camping, biking, reading and quilting

We had a wonderful 10 days. Lots of rain and cold in Luxembourg so we decided to go east and we ended up in the south of Germany. Visited castles and old cities in the Nürnberg region. The weather over there was great. Did a lot of biking (hills...), read 3 books and did a little quilting.  The perfect holiday!
