Finished my homework in time for the next board meeting

Already a few months ago we had a brainstorm session with the board of the Dutch Quiltersgilde. Apart from coming up with ideas for next years' celebrations (Quiltersgilde will celebrate it's 30 birthday), we had a little workshop organised by Marleen.

Next week we will have the our monthly board meeting and YES my pincushion is ready for show and tell!!!

Garden time

Today I am enjoying my garden. Still a lot of things to do, but today it will be too hot to pull weeds.

Hope you get some quilting inspiration from these pictures.

Hot, hot, hot

Yesterday my quilt friend Hilde came to visit and I had planned a visit to the herb garden in Cromvoirt. We went there by bike, pffff. But the garden and tour were worth the effort. We even could make our own scented calendula ointment!! And we did all of that with temperatures of around 30 Celcius.

And after a cup of herb tea we went home for lunch.
The rest of the day we spent in Den Bosch (with a quick visit to Françoise) and finished it of with a bee at Marleen's. Too hot to hold our needles, but it was the perfect closing of a perfect day.

Happy sewing and keep cool,

Rose-Anne

Girls Day Out

Today my friends and I went to the " fair with flair" at the Jacobushoeve in Well. It was very windy and all the stand holders were constantly busy securing their merchandise against the wind.
Here are a few things I bought. At least one thing is quilt-related.....

beautiful hanging basket

fresh cherries

tomato plant

 Enjoy your weekend,
